Course Reservation
- To ensure the quality of classes for our students, all courses at Yoga Journey are reservation-based. You are welcome to make reservations via phone, online, or at the front desk. Reservations for all classes can be made up to two days before the class.
- If you are unable to attend a class due to unforeseen circumstances, please make sure to cancel your reservation at least two hours before the class begins, either by calling the studio or using the online system. This allows other waiting students the opportunity to attend. Please note: If you fail to cancel within the two-hour window before the class, as it may affect other students' ability to book the class, it will be counted as an absence, and one class from your monthly package will be deducted. If you are placed on the waiting list and successfully get a spot, you must still follow the cancellation rules.
- For students purchasing a class package based on the number of sessions: The monthly calculation operates on a rolling month concept. For example, if your class starts on May 3, 2020, the first month will be from May 3 to June 2, and the second month will begin on June 3, and so on. Classes within a month must be used by the end of that month; they cannot be carried over to the next month or used in advance.
- To avoid issues with canceling the first class, students may call the studio between 8:30 AM and 9:30 AM to cancel the first class reservation. A "Late Cancel" record will not be counted if done during this time frame.
- If you accumulate three no-shows or fail to cancel at least two hours in advance within a calendar month, Yoga Journey will regrettably suspend your reservation rights from the 1st to the 14th of the following month. During this period, you may only attend classes by showing up 30 minutes before class time to join the waiting list.
- To protect the rights of all students, if a class reaches full capacity, Yoga Journey reserves the right to open the class to waiting members five minutes before the scheduled start time.
Yoga Journey's Reminder
- Students are responsible for consulting with a doctor before attending yoga classes to ensure their physical condition is suitable for participation. For example, in hot yoga classes, the room temperature is maintained between 36 to 40 degrees Celsius, which requires much more physical effort than exercising in a cooler environment.
- Students must ensure they are not suffering from any contagious illnesses, physical discomfort, or chronic conditions before using the studio's facilities. This includes, but is not limited to, having open wounds, inflammation, infection, muscle strains, high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, epilepsy, or any other condition that could impact the health, safety, or comfort of other students. If in doubt or if you have a condition, please immediately inform the on-site staff.
- If students have any past injuries or physical issues, they must inform the instructor before class so the instructor can adjust postures or suggest alternative poses to ensure safety and comfort.
- If, after the class has begun, students experience any discomfort or conditions that make participation unsafe, they should immediately inform the instructor or staff and refrain from continuing the class.
- If students are pregnant, on long-term medication, ill, or have physical disabilities, it is recommended to consult with a qualified medical professional before beginning yoga classes.
- Students are prohibited from taking medication, alcohol, or illegal substances at the studio or while participating in yoga classes.
