The first time I took a yoga class in 1998, I was impressed that the “slow” of yoga and the “fast” of our pursuit of efficiency formed such a strong contrast. I don’t remember what the whole class did, but for the first time I seriously observed my breathing. It turned out deep breathing will drive the whole body. As long as one can take a good breath, one can enjoy a great relaxation. The teacher said that the action is not important. “Go and feel the body.” This sentence is still used today. My limbs are awkward, but my heart is focused on quietness, which makes me feel happy, and since then I fell in love with yoga and later became a yoga teacher.
The body has more or less dark corners. It is a reflection of negative emotions. These emotions will erode our body from time to time. For example, stress will put pressure on our shoulders and necks and let the pain spread into the entire shoulder blade. Anxiety causes us to have indigestion, and this emotional toxin has caused civil illness.
Yoga poses gather ancient health wisdom. This set of “loose, gentle, deep, and vigorous” exercises is the best way to reduce stress in modern people. In the classroom, I relentlessly tell students to keep breathing smoothly and pay attention to the yoga asanas that bring details of the joints and muscles to ensure that we can stay safely and steadily. I always believe that rigorous and regular yoga practice is the kindest reminder of the body. Yoga is not competitive; it leads us to accept imperfections of our body. Through continuous practice, yogacan truly Relax our joints, ligaments, spine, blood vessels, strengthen muscle strength and elasticity. When the whole body is loose, Qi can effectively perfuse the whole body, and After being able to calm down, you can feel calm.
Now I pay more attention to maintaining the awareness of the mind during the practice, because only with a clear mind can we see the original appearance of things. Yoga teaches me to let go of the inertia of the mind, look at life with a higher and wider perspective, and cultivate more tolerance and understanding in resolving conflicts. Thanks to all the teachers who have led me on Yoga Road. Thanks to my students; your physical feedback has also helped me to grow and develop, and I hope to keep my original heart and continue to work hard! Namaste!
